Well howdy! That’s right, it’s been a hot minute since Gutterball Mom decided to sit down and blog. I realized the other day that I really miss just sitting at the computer and letting my fingers do the talking…..yeah, we know, that’s usually when my mouth filter goes on hiatus!
Lots of things in my life has changed since my last blog post..HUGE changes! Lets see…this might be easier if I just slap this down in list form. Ready, set, here I go.
- I got a full time job.
- Phil & I separated.
- I got my own place.
- Starting dating Jordan.
- Jordan moved in with me.
- Phil & the kids moved to Kentucky. (will go into further detail later.)
- Jordan and I moved to Jacksonville to be closer to our job and attempt at saving money (so that we can relocate to Ky).
- Phil & I filed for and finalized our divorce.
- Now I’m trying to plan a wedding!!!
Told you there were HUGE changes!
So, who’s Jordan, you might ask. Well he’s this great guy that I met at work. Some what of a geek…no scratch that…he’s a HUGE geek- but I totally love that about him. When I first met him, I never talked to him. I just knew he was the dude with the unruly curly hair that worked in our resolutions department and that he walked by my desk every day to exit the building. Once in a blue moon he’d say Hi as he walked by, but I never really paid much attention. Things changing at work caused us to be around each other more. We started slowly becoming friends. We talked about dating in the future when my life had settled down. Well it was a case of the more we talked, the more we both realized exactly how much we just really liked the other person, and how much we did want to be together. Now here we are, happily living together and happy as can be!
Jordan is a basketball blogger, he writes articles for The Chase Down Block and can be followed on Twitter @jakin1013 (if you like sports stuffs!)
Ok….so my return to blogdom should be longer but damn it, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is fixin to be on and I’ve gotta watch it! I forsee this show being inspiration for many blog posts in the future!! Yee-haw!
